James Dicks - President / CEO

James Dicks is an author on subjects of Real Estate, Stocks, Options, the Foreign Exchange Market and basic financial strategies. Increasing investment knowledge is James' goal and he strives to reach this goal by using a common sense approach that investors of all types can utilize. McGraw-Hill has published the following books James has written.  Forex Made Easy, Forex Trading Secrets, How to Buy and Sell Real Estate, and Operation Financial Freedom.

James Dicks is the founder of the PremiereTrade companies.   PremiereTrade is a recognized software provider for Forex data, charting and technical analysis. 

As a former U.S. Marine, James is committed and dedicated to giving all that he can to the U.S. Military forces.



Rob Smith - Chief Information Officer

Mr. Smith currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) of The PremiereTrade companies where he is focused on guiding the growth of IT services to the Federal Sector, and the specialized development of innovative financial technology products for individual traders and investors.

Prior to joining PremiereTrade, Mr. Smith has founded or co-founded multiple technology companies providing products and services in the digital media, telecommunications, manufacturing, and defense sectors. He has over twenty years of experience with 7x24 enterprise systems design, development, and operations as a CIO, CTO, Systems Architect, and technology consultant. He has provided expertise to companies such as Microsoft, Sony, CSC, Dyncorp, the Defense Information Systems Agency, Foster Wheeler Engineering, Wyethe Lederle Phamaceuticals, Calvin Klein Cosmetics Corporation, Sprint, Siemens Corporation, Michelin Tire Corporation, Northrup Grumman Aerospace, and GM.

Mr. Smith has authored five patents in the storage, retrieval, delivery and stream switching of digital video images as well as a patent in knowledge based management system discipline. Mr. Smith has participated as an industry expert on Network Attached Storage (NAS) at the Harvard Business School Cyberposium. He is also a member of two national IT organizations, Infragard, tasked with guarding the Nations critical infrastructure, and the National Committee of Information Technology Standards.

Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Florida State University, and is an Oracle Certified DBA.


Jack Lott – Director of Communications

Jack Lott’s four decade media career began as a radio broadcaster in Cape Canaveral, Florida in 1968. He was also a member of the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) with the U.S. Air Force and served in Southeast Asia, Spain, Greece, and Greenland.

He spent nearly a decade as an instructor of technical writing, broadcast production and operations within a junior level, honors English course at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was also the Director of Academic Television Production and the Deputy Director of Visual Information Technology under the Academy’s Dean of the Faculty. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1990 after a 20 year military career.

Lott was selected as the Program Director of the Business Radio Network in 1990 and was named the network’s Senior Vice President of Operations in 1995. In 2000, he was chosen to be the Director of Programming & Operations for the MoneyWatch Radio Network and developed a national financial radio program that was syndicated on broadcast stations from coast-to-coast by Business Talk Radio Network.

He is currently the company’s Director of Communications and is responsible for the creation of innovative media strategies. He writes all cover and feature articles for the nationally distributed James Dicks Magazine and is the co-host of a daily, national financial radio program on the James Dicks Financial Network (JDfn).

Lott holds a degree in Public Information and was awarded the prestigious Department of Defense Thomas Jefferson Award for broadcast excellence. His military awards include the Vietnam Service and Vietnam Campaign medals as well as the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with palm device. He was also awarded the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Air Force Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster and the Outstanding Unit Award with ‘V’ Device.
